Organic standards are the rules and regulations that define how a product must be grown and made. These standards are laid down by various governing bodies in different countries and covers all aspects of food product, right from animal welfare and wildlife conservation, to food processing and to packaging.
Spiso Foods (India) follows Indian, US and European standards for Organic Production i.e. “National Program for Organic Production” (NPOP) laid down and administered in India by APEDA; United State’s “National Organic Program” (NOP) laid down and administered by USDA and European Union Standards for Organic Production.
